“Boring!” 지루하다 VS 심심하다 | Korean FAQ
지루하다 and 심심하다 have simple differences, and also more complex differences. On the surface, 지루하다 is typically used to say that something is “boring,” while 심심하다 is used to say that you feel “bored.” So use 지루하다 as “to be boring” and 심심하다 as “to be bored.” That’s it… but there’s a bit more to it when you look at their actual usages. I’ll show which ones you should know how to use and when to use them in this week’s newest Korean FAQ episode.
