GIGANTIC Korean Noodle Soup | 칼국수 Kalguksu
Kalguksu (칼국수) is a noodle dish over a thousand (or more) years old, made in Korea using flour from China. In the past, flour was expensive and not grown in Korea, so typically only the wealthy could enjoy this dish – and on special occasions. Nowadays it’s readily available to anyone inside and even outside of Korea.
The city of Daejeon is known for several things, one of those being Kalguksu noodles. My friend Summer insisted she knew a famous, old Kalguksu restaurant there and took me along with her.
