Do You Remember? 기억하다 vs 기억나다 | Korean FAQ

기억하다 and 기억나다 are two verbs that mean “to remember” that are commonly used incorrectly, so I wanted to clarify how they’re different.

Both 기억하다 and 기억나다 are commonly used, and both translate as “to remember,” but have different meanings and uses. In this video I explain how to use each of them, and how they’re different.

i have been watching K DRAMAS AND HAVE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THE PHRASING AND REMARKS…. GEIGAKEE??? I FOUND IT TO BE A REMARK ON “MEMORY, OR BIG BRAIN” I MAY HAVE SPELLED IT WRONG, BUT MY UNDERSTANDING AND WATCHING ” EXTRAORDINARY ATTORNEY WOO”. SHE HAS A VERY GOOD MEMORY DUE TO PARTS OF HER AUTISM, AND OTHER ATTORNEYS THOUGHT LOWLY OF HER “BIG BRAIN” . THINK “MEGAMIND”
( DISNEY) AND HIS “PLANS AND SCHEMES” BEING OVER THOUGHT AND FAILING MORE THAN GAINING!!!!
